How Your California Broadcasters Association
Works For You

Promoting customs and practices in the best interests of broadcasters and the public they serve is the purpose of the California Broadcasters Association. As the only statewide broadcasting industry organization, the California Broadcasters Association provides protections and professional services to further the interests of all commercial radio and television stations in California.

Your CBA's full-time lobbying services respond to broadcasters' needs for protection in local, state and federal legislative and government agency matters affecting their broadcast businesses.

Your CBA assists managers in the efficient and effective operation of their stations with professional services. Through responses to individual requests, conferences, conventions and publications the CBA provides assistance in matters of sales and advertising, license requirements, personnel matters, programming and public service.

The California Broadcasters Association Board of Directors has primary responsibility for establishing the policy for these protections and services.

Your CBA membership allows the association to maintain a strong and effective presence in both Sacramento and Washington D.C.
